Bhind is one of the important cities of Madhya Pradesh serving as the district head-quarter and falls under the administrative jurisdiction of Morena. Earlier Bhind district comprised of four tehsils namely Bhind, Mehgaon, Gohad & Lahar, but presently there are seven tehsils which are Bhind, Ater, Mehgaon, Gohad, Lahar, Mihona, and Raun. Civic Administration in Bhind
Bhind District is headed by a Deputy Collector who along with Additional Collector, Deputy Collectors and Joint Collectors govern the district. The Collector of the Bhind district also works as District Magistrate
(DM) and is assisted by the Police for maintaining Law & Order in

which are Land Revenue and Land Records, Law and Order and Development
